Sign up for Gmail via SMS?
Apparently as part of the Talk.Google.com rollout, you no longer have to “know” someone who has a Gmail account to get an invite (Yes, there are plenty of sites that aggregate free accounts, I have submitted invites to quite a few of them.) you can do it via SMS of all things. Google Talk
Google Talk was finally launched today bringing Google into the IM space, as has been rumored for a long, long time. I think I’ll load up the client on my machines, if anyone is interested in giving it a try.

MMORPG Addiction
If you have never played an MMORPG like Everquest, Ultima Online, or World of Warcraft, don’t. Spare yourself. I’ve been playing a wee bit too much World of Warcraft lately, but I’m enjoying it quite a bit. I’m even quite excited about the changes coming up in the next patch, as they effect my main character quite a bit. Woot!

Changes
As you may have noticed, I have changed blogging tools from Blogger to WordPress. Blogger appears to be stuck with the same old fairly decent, yet not very shiny, features and I wanted something new to play with. You will probably notice that both of the old blogs have been combined and the import of the old content worked almost as well as I wanted it to. I'll be checking to see what I missed and adding it as I get more time.

As Requested….
The results of a stupid online test: Your brain: 40% interpersonal, 140% visual, 100% verbal, and 120% mathematical! Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoydoing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more thanaverage, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothingabout how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively.

Tell the officer you thought they were real!

A soda brewing mailing list!
Back in January I was playing around with the updated Google Groups and had created a group just to see what the management options were like. Well, one thing led to another and I never got back to playing with it for whatever reason. Fast forward almost 3 months and there are actually people subscribed to the group! Who'd of thunk it, eh? :-) Anyway, if you want to participate in the very beginning of what I hope can be come yet another resource for soda brewers on the net, please take a look at [Google Groups Soda-Brewing](http://groups-beta.

Alcohol content in soda
This post is actually something that I just sent out to a mailing list (more on that later) that I thought I should probably put here for future reference. If anyone does have solid numbers to share as far as alcohol content in soda, I would love to see them! —- While I don't have any hard numbers to share for an answer, I've
always been told that the actual alcohol content from naturally
carbonated sodas is very, very small.

Transit(ion)
I finally got around to taking Transit to work this morning rather than driving. It's been a long time coming and I've admittedly been just really damn lazy about it. It was a beautiful morning for it. A nice few blocks walk to the train platform in the rising sun and nicely crisp air and a nice ride on both the train and the bus. The only big downside? Everyone else who was waiting for the bus at MOA was smoking.
