Sign up for Gmail via SMS?
Apparently as part of the Talk.Google.com rollout, you no longer have to “know” someone who has a Gmail account to get an invite (Yes, there are plenty of sites that aggregate free accounts, I have submitted invites to quite a few of them.) you can do it via SMS of all things.
