Gah! My brain!

In a company newsletter this morning was a mention of the following book, whose title is causing pain that I must share:

Naming Elephants: How to Surface Undiscussables for Greater Organizational Success

In theory we have a bunch of copy editors on the payroll somewhere. I would have to guess they were all on vacation that week.

Let’s make a deal

I had an excellent evening playing games with Shaun and Scott where we played “I’m the Boss” by Face 2 Face Games for the first time. We only had time to play through it once but it was incredibly fun. It seems to be an extremely well balanced game at this point, though it’s hard to say for sure after only one session. Very highly recommended.

It’s a dessert topping…

My question is how they will work this “discovery” into the plot of Jurassic Park 4.

Unfortunately obscure

Microsoft launched the I’m Initiative yesterday and I had trouble finding information about it this morning so I figured I would put up a link here to hopefully make it a bit easier for the next person. Google had slightly more relevant results than Microsoft’s own Live Search, which is actually beginning to be disturbingly common. It’s a really bad sign when Google is better at searching MSDN than anything that Microsoft offers.

Since I use MSN for IM at work, it’s a fairly simple thing to do that does a little bit though I have no illusions about the probable $0.005 per year difference it’s making.
